Early Music Video Ideas

During thinking and deciding our genre and song choice, we thought of a variety of early ideas to include in our finished music video:

• Story would follow a main character (uncast at the moment) who would be turned to the side of the "Wicked" as suggested by the song.
• Main character would be tempted by two "tempters" or demon-like characters (represented by the idea of two devils on each shoulder in replace of one angel on his right shoulder). These two entities would act as beings that only the main character can see (i.e. a friend would offer character a bottle, cigarette etc. but from his point of view, it is one of the entities offering him the same and tempting him).
• Costume of tempters- would be wearing anonymous Guy Fawkes masks while clothes represent extremes in social class. One (Me) would wear the mask under a hoodie and jeans to represent lower class and would offer a bottle of vodka or a fag etc.(shown below) Whilst the other (Lewis) would be wearing a plain suit and top hat to show higher status, offering whiskey/champagne or a cigar etc.

This is part of the costume I would be wearing if we chose to do this idea for our music video.



Intro:

First idea was of a jukebox playing the start of the song (diagetic sound later moving to non-diagetic song) which would then pan around from the music player to the main character slumped over a bar unconscious.

Second idea of a character who is slightly more nerdy, unsociable who later becomes a wreck due to the influence of the tempters.
